Exabyte Corp, at least, thinks that Microsoft Corp’s Windows NT is capable of scaling up to high-end systems, and has announced that its flagship 8mm Mammoth tape drive, storing up to 40Gb and with transfer rates of six megabytes per second, is now supported by Windows NT 4.0 software drivers.
