Personal Computer peripheral and add-in board manufacturer Everex Systems Inc of Fremont, California is being sued for 10% of its equity by Chas Yap, the former general manager of its UK subsidiary: in his writ, Yap alleges that he was given an oral promise of a 10% stake, but the $157m company, which made its initial Nasdaq offering in July this year, says the suit is without merit and will be defended vigorously and is countersuing; the case will be heard next April.
