Eurotech launches COM Express module to support Intel’s 2nd Gen processors

Provides memory of DDR3 SDRAM with ECC (up to 8GB) and has Gigabit Ethernet and multiple PCI Express interfaces

Eurotech, a provider of hardware, software, services and embedded computing platforms to OEMs, has launched Adbc8034, a COM Express module that supports the 2nd Generation Intel Core processor family.

The new module comes with a frequency range of 2.1GHz to 2.5GHz, the Adbc8034 supports the 2nd Generation Intel Core i7-2715QE and Intel Core i5-2515E processors and the Intel QM67 Express chipset, the company said.

The Adbc8034 provides memory down DDR3 SDRAM with ECC (up to 8GB), VGA, SDVO and LVDS, four SATA, eight USB (2.0), Gigabit Ethernet and multiple PCI Express interfaces.

The Adbc8034 supports most operating systems like Microsoft Windows 7, Windows XP, WES 7 and Wind River Linux and can be ordered with a simple to use development kit that gives access to all features of the module.

The Adbc8034 comes in a COM Express Basic size form factor, and carrier board design service is available on request.
