EUROPEAN UNIX USER GROUP LITERALLY AT SEA

By CBR Staff Writer

The European Unix User Group will be all at sea (we’ll pretend we didn’t hear that sniggered more than usual?) for its Spring 1987 Conference and Exhibition, to be entitled ‘Unix Grows Up’: the event will be imaginatively staged from May 11 to 15 on board the M/S Mariella, which sails between Finland and Sweden, tutorials to be held in Helsinki, Finland: papers to be presented at the conference include Computer Workstation Architecture; Structural Regular Expression; Multiple Inheritance for C++; and Minix – a Unix clone with source code for the IBM Personal Computer.
