EUROPEAN SILLICON STRUCTURES TO TAKE IN LARGE INDUSTRIAL PARTNERS

European Silicon Structures, the pioneering pan-European semiconductor start-up, wants to take in two more large industrial partners, each of which would put up about $5m: it would like one from West Germany, where the Daimler Benz AEG combine sounds a likely candidate, and one for the US; according to the Financial Times, it would like its North American affiliate to be entirely funded by local interests.
