EUROPEAN COMPUTER LEASERS AND TRADERS ASSOCIATION WITHDRAWS ACTION AGAINST IBM DEUTSCHLAND

The European Computer Leasers and Traders Association has withdrawn its action against IBM Deutschland, saying that the threat of proceedings has brought a more reasonable IBM to the negotiating table: issues included lease rates charged by IBM Finance subsidiaries around Europe, and volume purchase amendment restrictions that hit leasers.
