EUROPEAN COMMISSION LOOKS INTO MICROSOFT INTERNET COMPLAINTS

The European Commission is investigating Microsoft’s contracts with internet service providers for possible breaches of fair trading rules, Bloomberg reported. Microsoft is alleged to have tied its deals in with mandatory use of the Internet Explorer browser. Last week the Commission revealed it was looking into half a dozen allegations of unfair business practices brought against Microsoft by European companies.
