Neckermann.de, a mail order company in Europe, has extended its IT contract with Atos Origin for another five years.
Under the extended contract, Atos Origin will continue to manage the entire IT infrastructure and services of Neckermann.de.
Atos Origin will also provide desktop and helpdesk services; applications management and data center services including the operation of mainframe and the SAP infrastructure.
Atos Origin will also offer additional services including voice over IP services and a service to enable the client to monitor business processes in real time.
Atos Origin Germany and CEMA CEO Winfried Holz said in order to be able to manage the IT services for retailers such as Neckermann.de, they have to understand the business processes and the challenges that they face.
"We are pleased that neckermann.de continues to place confidence in Atos Origin and has chosen to continue to work with us," Holz said.
