EUROPE PLANS PAY-TV, ELECTRONIC PUBLISHING PIRACY PROTECTION

The European Commission has proposed legislation to protect expanding services such as Pay-TV and electronic publishing from piracy. The commission said the law would strengthen legal protection of television, radio and information society services that consumers have to pay for.
