The 2007 editions of CA Internet Security Suite, CA Anti-Spyware, CA Anti-Virus, CA Anti-Spam, and CA Personal Firewall have been released this week, as its part of the security industry’s annual product refresh.
A new addition to the suite, CA Desktop DNA Migrator 2007 is a PC-to-PC data migration and backup tool, apparently CA’s take on the PC maintenance feature requirement that hit the industry at the start of the year, when Microsoft Corp unveiled its OneCare feature set.
In another nod to Microsoft’s dictating the terms of the market, CA has priced its three-seat home bundle in line with competitors such as Symanetc, which reduced its prices for multi-installation licenses this year in accordance with OneCare pricing.
The Home Protection Pack version of the full suite will be priced at $69.99, while a single user license can be picked up for $49.99. Bought separately, the suite’s components come in at $29.99 to $39.99 each. The Migrator software, which comes with an Ethernet cable, is priced at $69.99.
