ESPRIT SYSTEMS CUTS PRICE ON OPUS2 ASCII TERMINAL BY 9%

By CBR Staff Writer

Esprit Systems Inc, Melville, New York has cut prices on its Opus2 ASCII terminal by 9% to $499: the Wyse 50-compatible Opus2 adds advanced video, pop-up calculator and enhanced keyboard features; the company, which has had a torrid time since it was formed as a management buy-out from Hazeltine, accompanied the cut with the offer of free maintenance for the first year under the Esprit Express Plan.
