Maidenhead, Berkshire-based European Software Publishing has an upgrade, version 2.0c, to the data access and reporting tool, Forest & Trees and a provider for Lotus Development Corp’s Notes: version 2.0c is compatible with the forthcoming Microsoft Corp Windows 3.1, it offers increased view storage capacity from 64Kb to 640Kb, graphing enhancements include a staggerstack feature for axis labelling and the facility to add rectangle and ellipses as graphical background objects; an enhanced mouse pointer changes shape when placed over a ‘hotspot’; available now, at UKP474 for a single user version, a five user network pack is UKP2,000, both include an update service providing 12 months free updates, current users can buy a 12 month update service direct from ESP until April 1; ESP has announced availability of Quadbase providers that enable index support for dBase, Clipper and FoxPro files; Lotus Notes provider for Forest & Trees is available at no extra cost as part of the standard version; Forest & Trees was developed by US company the Newmarket, New Hampshire-based Channel Computing Inc.
