The Nymex Direct uses eSignal’s FutureSource Java application, FutureSource Xtra, to provide futures traders with access to quotes on commodities from the Exchange.
According to eSignal, FutureSource Xtra is an internet, browser-based system that supplies the commodities, financial futures and foreign exchange trading community with real-time market data, decision support systems and services covering a range of markets. It is designed to offer users maximum flexibility through customized modules that can be added or subtracted as a user sees fit.
Other features of the application include custom workspaces, which enable users to manage up to ten workspaces, custom options views, export data and news updates and weather maps from Dow Jones Energy.
