The bank is using Norkom’s Anti Money Laundering applications technology to investigate suspicious activity across its central European business operations.

Liam Griffin, sales and marketing director for Norkom, commented on the deal: Today too many organizations focus solely on what they need to do to comply with regulations rather than adopting an approach that enables them to not only comply with regulations but make bottom line return for shareholders, customers and the business.

The software suite will initially be installed in Erste Bank’s Czech and Slovak subsidiaries, with full deployment expected to take place in Austria, Hungary, Croatia and the wider CEE.
