The agreement means that Ericsson will provide the total core network Kingdom wide, as well as the major portion of STC’s radio network, covering the central and Eastern provinces as well as the Jeddah area.
Ericsson will provide STC with full supply, technology and services support for the project. The expansion will make STC the largest and among the most advanced GSM networks in the Middle East.
