Machine to machine GPRS means the possibility of transferring large amounts of data and being always connected. The demand for GPRS modules has increased as GPRS networks are rolled out.
At present the M2M marketplaces is currently undergoing rapid development and until recently the majority of applications have been based on SMS and voice; with General Packet Radio Services being rolled out, business opportunities arise within M2M.
