ERICSSON TO SELL FACIT TO NORWEGIAN INVESTORS

Facit AB, one of Sweden’s oldest office supply companies, is changing hands yet again as L M Ericsson signs a letter of intent to sell it and some other office equipment op-erations to Oslo, Norway limited partnership Design Function (Norge) A/S. Value of the transaction, which involves operations with ann-ual turnover of $320m, about 20% of the Ericsson Information Systems total, was not disclosed. The sale includes word processor, printer, typewriter and calculator marketing as well as office furniture. The businesses, which also include a furniture and a printer factory in Sweden, and employ 2,500 people, will trade under the Facit name. Ericsson will retain a 20% stake..pl 63
