L M Ericsson Telefon AB has won a $150m cellular telephone equipment order froy renet alr rla, said it has received a mobile telephone order from China for delivery in the third quarter of 1993: the biggest order China has ever made for mobile systems, it includes transmitters, exchanges and base stations for China’s Guangdong province; it has also won a $28m contract from Australian & Overseas Telecommunications Corp for cellular equipment to expand the existing analogue network, to be operational by mid-1993; Ericsson will provide a new switch for the network in Sydney and new base stations for New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia.
