The platform, named AXB 250 06 GGSN, is based on the Juniper Networks M20 Internet router and Ericsson’s GGSN application. It is set to benefit mobile operators, as it is ready to support thousands of concurrent Internet and telephony access sessions through any IP device at up to 350,000 packets per second.
Italian operator Wind has already selected the new platform, due to its ability to support the company’s future service and traffic demands based on its performance, scalability and service quality capabilities.
