Ericsson and Intel Security are collaborating to provide managed security solutions to telecom operators to bundle with services they provide to enterprises.
Ericsson’s managed services expertise, global delivery capabilities and network security expertise will be combined with Intel Security’s portfolio of consumer and enterprise security solutions.
The providers will contribute their expertise in regulatory compliance, as well as their local response capabilities and ability to combine communications and security services. Intrusion prevention and web and email security solutions will also be available.
The move taps into the burgeoning enterprise mobility and unified communications markets.
