It’s sad when a company that has established a strong and committed business philosophy like Everex Systems Inc – or for that matter Wang Laboratories Inc – finds itself in the bankruptcy courts: one part of Ever for Excellence Everex’s tenets should be that all employees should get equal treatment, founder Steve Hui used to relate, chairs were common to all, and the worst-performing employee of the month got the lousy chair; we have to assume that Hui had had to spend a few weeks sitting in the lousy chair before he resigned.
