Epson has expanded its WorkForce line of printers with the launch of WorkForce 610 and WorkForce 1100. The 610 is an all-in-one printer with Wi-Fi and PC Fax features, developed for small businesses. The 1100 printer is designed for businesses that demand wide-format prints.
Epson said that the new 610 offers printing, scanning, copying and faxing capabilities. The new all-in-one printer comes with built-in Wi-Fi and wired networking, a 2.5 tilt LCD screen and an automatic document feeder. The new 610 printer offers print speeds up to 38 ppm black and 38 ppm colour and laser quality speeds of 15 ppm black and 9.3 ppm colour.
The new 1100 printer delivers wide-format prints for creating charts, graphs or signage materials. The 1100 printer offers speeds of up to 30 ppm black and 17 ppm colour and laser quality speed of 13 ppm black and 5.5 ppm colour.
Rodrigo Catalan, product manager of consumer ink jets at Epson America, said: “Epson’s innovative print technology enables the WorkForce 610 and WorkForce 1100 to vastly outpace competitive models, delivering the fastest print speeds, product reliability and ease-of-use features for success.
Reportedly, the new WorkForce 610 and 1100 printers are ENERGY STAR qualified and RoHS compliant.
