EPM Live unveils SharePoint Workforce Management application

Claims to help manage labour demands, control costs, and improve productivity

By CBR Staff Writer

EPM Live has released SharePoint Workforce Management application, which it claims to provide workforce management capabilities to help manage labour demands, control costs and improve productivity.

The company said that the new SharePoint Workforce Management application, built on SharePoint 2007 and 2010 framework and within Microsoft SharePoint, helps to manage workforce demands, monitors work performance and analyses real-time data and make resource and labour force adjustments to respond to unexpected changes in workforce demands.

The new application also allows users to gain visibility into where labor demands come from; identify and focus on critical work items and streamline workforce processes with workflow tools designed to help managers schedule, monitor and analyse work demands, the company said.

According to EPM Live, the application can be used to update and manage work assigned to a team member from a single view; helps team members to create new tasks, issues, risks, changes, actions, and service requests; and provide insights into what resources are working on and allows users to track time on any work item in SharePoint.
