The new offering, Epicor Advanced Quality, will integrate with Epicor’s manufacturing enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology to automate business processes, with the aim of lowering operating costs and meeting market-driven product quality requirements.
Included in the suite is the Core Solution Set, which contains software to manage part and process documentation, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Control Plan development, issue tracking and corrective actions, and supplier performance and customer communications.
Epicor added that it would be presenting optional product offerings to improve Product Launch and Part Approvals through Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Equipment and Calibration Management, Data Collection and Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Compliance and Audit management, for compliance with industry standards and regulatory mandates like Sarbanes-Oxley and the TREAD Act.
