Sale, Cheshire-based Brite Voice Systems Group Ltd has launched an entry-level version of its VM2001i voice messaging system: called the VM2000e, it supports basic functions such as voice mail and automated attendant, as well as further options including paging, bulletin boards, and additional languages; it is an 80386-based system, uses three telephone lines, has a total message storage capacity of four hours, and can be configured for up to 300 mailbox users; it is also upgradable to the full VM2001i specification; the product has the nod from the British Approvals Board for Telecommunications, but no pricing information was available at the time of going to press.
