Just over a fortnight after they had resumed trading, Enterprise Computer Holdings Plc has asked the Stock Exchange to suspend its shares listing pending investigation of a claim made against it related to a lease on a property occupied by a former subsidiary. The claim is for rent and other outgoings totalling about ú16,500 for the quarter that began on March 25. For its part, Enterprise says that the lease on the property runs until 2010, and it has a guarantee for all costs payable by the tenant. The suspension was requested because of the claim and the uncertain impact it will have on the shares, last traded on April 13 at 0.75 pence, and the Reading, Berkshire company has put off its extraordinary general meeting planned for April 20.
