Enjoy books and films with Sainsbury’s new apps

Nectar points can be gained by using eBooks by Sainsbury's eReader and Sainsbury’s Entertainment on Demand Movies & TV.

By Ellie Burns

Sainsbury’s have launched two new apps for Windows 8.1. The first is an eBooks by Sainsbury’s eReader app, which features over 400,000 titles.

Also launched was Sainsbury’s Entertainment on Demand Movies & TV app, a new service which lets users watch the latest blockbuster movies and TV series on their Windows phone or tablet.

Rentals on the Sainsbury’s Entertainment on Demand Movies & TV app start from £1.99, with the latest releases available to own from £8.99.

With the ability to sync between devices, both apps allow users to collect Nectar points as they build their eBook or film libraries with points available on every purchase or rental.

Both apps are now available free from the Windows store.
