EMPACT SOFTWARE SIGN TO ACQUIRE EMPRISE TECHNOLOGIES INC’S STAGE3 DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS

Sunnyvale, California-based Boole & Babbage Inc reports that its Empact Software unit has signed a letter of intent to acquire worldwide distribution rights for Pittsburgh-based Emprise Technologies Inc’s Stage3 local area network-to-mainframe back-up product under an agreement that will allow Boole & Babbage to take a stake in Emprise.
