Dutch internet service provider Em@ilCo.NL will today unveil what it is calling Europe’s first email callcenter, a system that enables companies to handle growing numbers of emails from clients and prospects swiftly and efficiently. The company will launch the service today at the Direct Marketing Congress being held in Maastricht, Holland. Em@ilCo.NL said the service will permit the sender of an email to select a time, within which he or she will receive a ‘fully personalized’ reply to his or her enquiry from the company using it. The sales effort will initially target companies engaging in direct marketing activities, as well as executives with responsibility for customer relations or complaint handling. Em@ilCo.NL is marketing the product within Holland, while German sister company in Germany, Em@ilCo.Duitsland, will take care of sales outside the Netherlands. Em@ilCo.NL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dutch group DINC International BV.
