YouTube users will be able to watch authorized EMI owned and copyrighted videos and integrate clips into their own user generated content.
The financial terms have not been disclosed, although EMI will receive a cut of revenue from ads shown on YouTube when EMI videos are being viewed.
EMI will use the website’s content management tools to monitor use of its videos and can have them removed if it wishes.
UK-based EMI is the last of the four major record labels to sign a deal with Google-owned YouTube.
