Privately-held Interlink employs nearly 180 front-line service staff, and according to EMC specializes in application development, IT infrastructure, integration, EMC and CRM for Microsoft shops. The company is a Gold certified Microsoft integrator, and last year picked up the Western US Microsoft Partner of the Year trophy.
EMC did not disclose financial details of the acquisition, and said it does not expect it to materially its impact revenue or earnings this year.
Interlink will become part of EMC’s Microsoft practice, which was formed when EMC bought Internosis Inc in January 2006. Based in Maryland, Internosis employs around 250 service staff.
