EMC expands content management capabilities to additional mobile devices

Documentum Mobile supports the latest iPad devices, IOS platforms

By CBR Staff Writer

Storage hardware applications provider EMC has expanded enterprise content management capabilities to additional mobile devices with the new release EMC Documentum Mobile App for the Apple iPhone.

The new release enables EMC to support access to content from the Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

The company has also released EMC Documentum D2, an application which configures user client interfaces to the EMC Documentum platform, eliminating the need for coding.

Documentum Mobile enables users to react fast on information, besides accelerating productivity and delivering the complete set of capabilities to the iPhone.

It supports the new iPad devices and IOS platforms and also can access enterprise information through a media enabled interface with corporate compliance.

Documentum D2 enables IT and ‘power users’ to configure content applications without the need for custom coding.

It provides users with a browser-based environment to access the Documentum platform.
