Elite Systems is planning to relaunch Sinclair’s ZX Spectrum next year to celebrate the iconic device’s 30th anniversary.

Reports suggest that the new version of Spectrum will be a bluetooth keyboard replica of the classic home computer. It could also be hooked up to the TV with the help of an iPhone, reported the Telegraph.

Although Elite has till now only developed versions for Apple devices, it is also planning to put the new gaming software on Google Android devices.

In the past, the games developer company has relaunched classics such as Ghosts ‘n Goblins.

The relaunch is based on the growing enthusiasm of gamers with a majority of them saying that one of the main uses of their phones is gaming.
