Working alongside healthcare information management solutions provider Emerging Health Information Technology, the center implemented the electronic order entry system in place of the older paper-based system.
Emerging Technologies says the center’s physicians and clinicians now have access to a comprehensive view of patient history, test results and current medications at the exact time and place it is needed. Physician instructions and prescriptions can be processed without the need for handwritten charts.
