The electronic interests of steel and steel pipe maker Mannesmann AG of Dsseldorf now account for 13% of the company’s total business – $1,229m out of $9,406m in 1986; they include Mannesmann Tally peripherals, Kienzle Apparate GmbH computers and taximeters, and tiny Peripherie Computer Systeme GmbH.
