ELECTRONIC DATA SYSTEMS HAS MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS WITH DEALERLINE

Electronic Data Systems has run into management problems with its Dealerline computer systems aimed at the 10,000 US General Motors Corp dealers: it says that it needs to hold back the marketing effort until it has enough support people in place, but dealers are complaining that only a handful of the modules for the system, which is intended to automate every dealership activity, is actually ready.
