Olivetti SpA and the Electronic Data Systems unit of General Motors Corp yesterday announced the creation of a joint venture on systems integration for the European market. Financial details of the new joint company were not disclosed. The joint venture, which will be called Integrated Systems Management SpA, and will be based in Milan, Italy, will initially offer to implement complete integrated engineering and manufacturing systems for manufacturing companies.
