In its interim results, components and peripherals distributor, Electron House of Bracknell reports pre-tax profits of UKP2m, 82% up on the same period last year: this performance reflects the merger between its House of Power subsidiary, VSI Electronics and its new acquisition, HB Electronics, which has enabled Electron House to anticipate the fall in the memory component market and adjust its product base accordingly; despite the disappointing sales record of its Californian division, which is about to undergo an economy of scale, the company expects a rise in its market share of both old and new lines in the next six months.
