The famous Ben Rosen, the analyst-turned-venture capitalist who still pull the strings at Compaq Computer Corp and helped Lotus Development Corp get off the ground, is following the path blazed by Uncle Sir Clive (Sinclair) and has joined forces with his brother, Dr Harold Rosen, who invented the first communications satellite and built about half those circulating the earth today to form Rosen Motors Inc and develop an electric car: Rosen Motors is our first business together and it could be something bigger than anything he or I have done yet, he told the Sunday Telegraph, and while declining to reveal any of his secrets, averred with a crashing of metaphors that people designing battery-powered cars that are slow and expensive are barking down the wrong path.
