The personal computer manufacturers led by Compaq Computer Corp that agreed to back a new 32-bit AT-compatible Extended Industry Standard Architecture bus, say that all key aspects of the spec electrical, mechanical and system configuration details – have been incorporated and distributed to participatants. Samples of EISA parts from Intel are seen for second quarter, with volume expected in the second half.
