The Eidos Interactive subsidiary of Eidos Plc has signed Looking Glass Technologies Inc to an exclusive four-year publishing and distribution agreement which includes the launch of the British Open Championship Golf golf simulation game on the North American market. Eidos Interactive will act as the sales and distribution arm for Looking Glass in North America and also as the exclusive publisher in Europe. The game features the actual British Open Championship courses at St Andrews and Royal Troon, play-by-play commentary from ABC Sports announcer Jim McKay, an interactive caddie to help with tricky shots, reactive crowds and realistic weather effects that affect game play.
