EDS to buy German investment firm

IT services company EDS Corp is on the verge of acquiring a majority stake German asset management firm BHW Invest, according to reports.

By CBR Staff Writer

The deal is expected to be finalized in the New Year, and would increase the company’s presence in the German financial industry where it has a number of IT and business process outsourcing contracts.

Recently, EDS confirmed that it was in talks with the human resources outsourcing arm of Towers Perrin about a potential business relationship. It is thought that the two companies could be working on a joint venture that would boost EDS’ capabilities in the HR BPO space.
