The deal is expected to be finalized in the New Year, and would increase the company’s presence in the German financial industry where it has a number of IT and business process outsourcing contracts.
Recently, EDS confirmed that it was in talks with the human resources outsourcing arm of Towers Perrin about a potential business relationship. It is thought that the two companies could be working on a joint venture that would boost EDS’ capabilities in the HR BPO space.
