Electronic Data Systems Corp’s systems integration and facilities management ambitions are global, and according to Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun, its Japanese subsidiary of EDS, Electronic Data Systems Japan is about to start getting serious about the Japanese market, and hopes that through the provision of facilities management services including system management and maintenance, to grow to a company with between 5,000 to 10,000 employees within 10 years; since its arrival in Japan in 1986, it has been involved in development of a CAD/CAM system for Isuzu Motors, derived from a General Motors Corp system.
