edge IPK launches new version of user-experience platform

Allows users to create custom-built widgets and interactive pages

edge IPK, a provider of business driven applications, has launched a new user-experience platform, which it claims to provide businesses with the ability to configure multi-channel applications in a short time and costs associated with traditional methods.

The company said edgeConnect 5.0 has been designed to help businesses deliver richer and larger online experiences, meet the demand from end-users for fully-featured and complex web offerings across a variety of channels.

According to edge IPK, the new platform allows non-technical users to configure and define applications by hiding the complex underlying forms and streamlines the configuration process by permitting applications to be developed in a similar way to a mashup. In addition, it allows portions of applications to be reused across numerous projects.

In addition, edgeConnect 5.0 supports a palette of components and graphics on individual screens, and allows users to create custom-built widgets and interactive pages. It also allows integration with third-party development tools and libraries.
