EDELMAN, METRO MOBILE CTS TAKE 5% STAKE IN CENTEL CORP

Asher Edelman and partners, and cellular operator Metro Mobile CTS Inc have spent $94m to build a stake of 5% in Centel Corp of Chicago and are recommending sale of part or all of the business, a move strongly resisted by the telecommunications, cellular telephone services and cable television company.
