As part of the agreement, EDB will aim to provide programs for card administration and mini-banks, and for capture and receipt of card transactions from Norwegian and international card networks.
In addition, EDB said it will offer a single sign-on functionality to give the bank’s customers and employees secure access to technologies available through the Terra-Gruppen internet bank portals without repeated log ins.
EVP Ole Urdahl of EDB said that the contract confirms the IT company’s ability to offer competitive platforms that can be readily integrated with the needs and infrastructure of different banks.
