Ecsoft UK Signs £4m Contract With Mynet

COMPANY PRESS RELEASE: ECsoft announces the signing of an application development and management contract with £4m with the web based services provider, MyNet, which will see the launch of a new service to raise the stakes in permission marketing.

By CBR Staff Writer

Part of the project will see ECsoft develop an infrastructure to enable MyNet to offer a service that allows individuals to manage their personal information and select companies from whom they wish to receive promotional information, depending on their own interests.

ECsoft will work with MyNet to develop a sophisticated, flexible and scaleable architecture capable of supporting an expanding range of web-based products and services which include online purchasing, information management tools and online status tracking.

The first part of the project will focus on developing the application for the new service which will ultimately enable consumers to manage their personal information in a way that is convenient to them. As an example, users will be able to make details of their leisure pursuits available to companies who can personalise the marketing according to the users interests.
