Eclat, the European Computer Leasers and Traders Association, has been forced to revise its schedule for offering an information service for its used computer broker members (CI No 550). It wants to acquire an existing service and develop it for its members, possibly allowing non-members access as well, and a Dutch company, Computer Brokers Exchange, was top of its list. It now says it is considering buying one of three companies operating on-line broking services; a firm decision is due in February.
