Afterbuy.com, which enables users to trade on eBay’s German site as well as other online marketplaces, will maintain its brand name and remain in Krefeld, Germany, eBay said.
Afterbuy.com is owned by auction management software company ViA-Online. While terms of the deal were not disclosed, eBay said it did not expect it to have a material impact on its financial guidance for the quarter.
