Easynet Global Services and Ipanema Technologies have signed a three-year contract with a theatre organisation to provide a suite of new IT services, including application-aware networking and security solutions.
The Ambassador Theatre Group Ltd (ATG) has been an Easynet customer for the past six years and the UK-based company is looking to Easynet and Ipanema to expand IT services as it expands into the US and looks to break into new territories including Asia Pacific.
ATG delivers many critical applications across its network to various offices, venues and contact centres, and it relies on its application-aware network to facilitate this communication and integrate 39 theatres across the UK along with ATG sites in New York.
Easynet already provides security for ATG, but the new contract aims to analyse application performance across ATG’s network.
If the performance of ATG’s critical applications drops below a predetermined threshold, Easynet will notify ATG and analyse the cause.
Vin Govender, technology director of ATG, said: "It’s an exciting time for ATG as we’re poised for global growth, and working hand-in-hand with Easynet and Ipanema gives us the confidence and peace-of-mind that is so important at this stage in our journey."
Adrian Thirkill, UK managing director and COO at Easynet Global Services, added: "We’ve worked with ATG for years so we know their business inside out, and bringing in Ipanema with its application management expertise will take ATG’s technology platform to a new level."
